NEW YORK (WABC) -- Weather conditions improve on Friday, but Hurricane Erin's impact continues at the beaches with dangerous surf and rip currents along with coastal flooding at the times of high tide.

For the rest of us, sunshine returns with a warmup into the weekend before some storms return later Sunday into Monday.
