Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Vice President, Finance Product Technology to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of modern finance technology capabilities that will enable and accelerate our multi-year Finance Transformation. Reporting directly to the SVP, Enterprise Technology – Products, this leader will oversee a global team of approximately 150+ employees and 200+ contractors, with accountability for building, delivering and operating a portfolio of integrated technologies that transform how finance operates, drives automation, and enhances workforce productivity.

This executive will partner with senior leaders across Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Procurement, Sourcing, Tax, and related domains to shape a forward-looking technology vision rooted in AI, Agile, DevOps, and Product Team methodologies. A key focus will be maximizing our investment in SAP S/4HANA, deploying a new EPM platform, and leveraging artificial intelligence to scale operational efficiency and deliver real-time business insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technology Strategy & Roadmap
    • Define and evolve the enterprise-wide Finance Technology strategy in close alignment with Finance leadership, enterprise priorities, and the broader transformation agenda.
    • Drive the delivery of scalable, secure, and resilient digital capabilities across Finance functions using modern product operating models and Agile methodologies.

  • Finance Transformation Leadership
    • Serve as a key technology stakeholder in the company’s Finance Transformation program.
    • Oversee major enterprise technology initiatives including continued optimization of SAP S/4HANA and deployment of a new EPM platform.

  • Innovation & Productivity
    • Champion the integration of AI and intelligent automation across the finance value chain to drive enhanced decision-making, reduce manual effort, and optimize cost structures.
    • Ensure delivery of consumer-grade digital experiences to finance teams through intuitive, data-driven platforms.
    • Strategically align organizational structures and processes to support the evolving business goals, ensuring that the organization is efficient and structured to adapt to future changes. 

  • Operational Excellence
    • Manage end-to-end operations for all applications under Finance Technology’s purview, ensuring system reliability, scalability, data security, and compliance.
    • Establish and maintain rigorous standards for data governance, integrity, training, and sustainment.

  • Stakeholder Partnership
    • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders in Finance, Enterprise Technology, and business segments to co-create solutions that align to strategic objectives.
    • Influence and negotiate with technology vendors and partners to achieve fair, optimized outcomes.

  • Agile Product Delivery
    • Lead and mature Finance Technology Product Teams to deliver business outcomes with speed and agility using modern DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and iterative delivery models.
    • Identify opportunities for co-development, piloting, and experimentation, applying targeted innovation with acceptable risk.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of leadership experience in Finance Technology within a large, global enterprise.
  • Proven success delivering enterprise-scale implementations of SAP (S/4HANA, BRIM), EPM tools, Coupa, Ariba, and similar platforms.
  • Expertise in Agile software development, DevOps practices, and operating in Product Team–based delivery models.
  • Strong understanding of AI, machine learning and automation applications in financial operations.
  • Track record of delivering measurable business value through technology.
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and relationship-building skills across all levels of a matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead global teams, manage large portfolios, and prioritize investment in line with business impact.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field required.
  • Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, M.S. in Information Systems) strongly preferred.
  • Deep experience working with or for Fortune 100-level companies or similar scale environments.


    The hiring range for this position in California is $298,200 to $399,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
