Responsibilities:
Assist in tracking all News Talent contracts inclusive of new hires, renewals, amendments, change of positions, and expirations.
Support BA Executives and the Senior Manager in researching responses for questions regarding Talent contract interpretation.
Support the daily process that ensures all relevant stakeholders and systems are updated to reflect each contract, in collaboration with all relevant parties, including Business Affairs, Talent Strategy & Development, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Finance, Payroll, & Org Management.
Ensure the accuracy of information across contracts, systems, and documentation and support internal audits / reporting to maintain data accuracy.
Participate in onboarding & offboarding tasks in partnership with key internal stakeholders.
Assist the Senior Manager in gathering information from Org Management, Payroll, and Finance to research compensation inquiries from Employees and other internal partners.
Provide internal support to BA Executives to compile high-level reports and information to drive the recommendation and offer processes.
Updating and maintaining various department grids and charts and disseminating them to relevant stakeholders.
Monitor and flag upcoming contract renewals, extensions, and commitments to Business Affairs team, and key stakeholders.
Help manage and organize data related to on and off-air talent deals, commitments, and obligations.
Provide general data management support to the Business Affairs team.
Support the Senior Manager with on-air appearance tracking processes.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant experience in business operations, HR, legal, or related field.
An understanding of contracts, contract interpretation, as well as the ability to work with reports and data.
Role requires keen eye for details as well as the ability to pivot quickly when Role requires someone who lives within a reasonable distance from our office on 7 Hudson Square NYC. Position requires someone onsite 4 days a week.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and forge strong working relationships.
Work with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills.
Ability to follow established processes and escalate complex issues appropriately.
Strong critical thinking and basic data analysis skillset.
Proficient Excel skills and familiarity with cloud-based data management systems.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Education:
Paralegal certificate

The hiring range for this position in New York is $74,300 to $99,660 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
