Our Disney+ Partnerships team is responsible for new business development and successful management of external partnerships in alignment with Disney Direct to Consumer business objectives of subscriber growth and retention, revenue maximization and brand health.

The role will manage business development, including participating in research and markets analysis, proactive lead generation and prospecting, deal development and negotiation of commercial terms, contract management and project reporting, and deliver go-to-market plans.  The role will oversee the execution team.

Your main areas of responsibility will include:

  • Leading the development, launch, and growth of local partnerships that deliver on subscriber growth and engagement, financial and brand objectives

  • Building and nurturing the external and internal relationships that underpin strategic, collaborative, long-term and mutually beneficial partnerships that enhance consumer value and brand perceptions

  • Collaborating with colleagues across business functions and verticals to align plans and activities with broader Company strategy, financial plans, local laws and Company policies, and standards of innovation and creative excellence

  • Driving and overseeing the end-to-end process of delivering and optimizing partnership offerings and campaigns

  • Managing, coach and mentor two direct reports including the Account Manager and Account Executive, including setting goals, providing regular check-ins and guidance, identifying strengths and development needs, and growth opportunities such as stretch assignments

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Demonstrable business development skills including lead generation and qualification, prospecting and outreach, deal negotiation and closing, and strategic account development

  • Polished language and communication skills, including clear and persuasive verbal communication, strong presentation and pitching skills, and professional writing skills

  • Engaging interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to forge positive relationships within multiple levels of an organization, and in the wider operating environment

  • Demonstrable leadership and team management skills, coaching and mentoring, delegation and time management, goal setting and performance tracking

  • Digital products and marketing expertise including best-practice channel strategy and customer journeys

  • Natural team player, with ability to collaborate, multi-task, and work to tight deadlines

  • Adaptability, resilience, and emotional intelligence
