Why should I vote?

In addition, when you upvote a reply or User Tip, you add value not only to the content, but also to the community member who provided the helpful contribution, which helps to build their reputation in the community.
Types of votes
Upvote

Helps to highlight and elevate valuable content for greater visibly
Gives power to the community to decide what is helpful

If content isn’t helpful, you can downvote a reply or a User Tip. Downvoting content helps determine which scenarios aren’t helpful to users. A downvote doesn't impact points or reputation.
