Timeline Summary
Submission of the eligibility form from August 15, 2025 to September 26, 2025.
Those who meet the eligibility requirements will be invited to complete a more detailed application, which will be available from October 13 to December 12, 2025. Following a thorough review process semi-finalists will be announced on January 16, 2026. Finally, after careful evaluation of the finalists, the scholarship winners will be officially announced on March 13, 2026.

The National Dominican Day Parade Scholarship Program is an annual initiative aimed at supporting students of dominican descent who are pursuing higher education in the United States.

The Program
The National Dominican Day Parade Scholarship Program is an annual initiative aimed at supporting students of dominican descent who are pursuing higher education in the United States.

Purpose
To empower and uplift dominican youth through academic and community support, enabling them to become future leaders and contributors to society.
Benefits

Financial Support
Scholarships and stipends to students of dominican descent. Awards up to $IO,OOO to current and future students.

Internship
Selected scholars may serve as interns, acting as liaisons between the scholarship committee and the student body for a 15-month term.

Community Engagement
Applicants are encouraged to highlight their involvement in activities: volunteering, mentorship, and participation in cultural events.

Parade Participation
Scholarship recipients are invited to march in the annual Dominican Day Parade, symbolizing their role as community ambassadors.
Elegibility
Good academic standing
Must meet the minimum academic requirements set by the school or university.

Dominican descent
Must have ancestral roots or heritage from the Dominican Republic.
Full time student
Must be enrolled in a school taking the minimum number of credits required to be considered full time by that institution.
How to Apply
Applicants must submit an online form along with necessary documentation, including transcripts, two letters of recommendation, a resume, and an essay. Selected candidates undergo an interview with the NatDDP scholarship committee
