Celebrity stylist Law Roach joins the panel this year as a judge
"Project Runway" is BACK and season 21 is as unfiltered as you want it to be.
Heidi Klum returns as host, Christian Siriano returns as contestant mentor, Nina Garcia is back as judge and celebrity stylist Law Roach joins the panel as judge.
"Being on the show is a dream, right? Because I watched it for so many years coming up and it was my window into an industry that I kind of craved to be in," Roach told On The Red Carpet.
Klum was thrilled for Roach to join the team.
"He's a fashion genius. It's always amazing to watch what he puts people in. And, you know, he speaks from the heart, he's passionate about it, you know, and it's been a fun season with him," said Klum. "Law also doesn't mince his words and I don't know if we've ever had this in the past, but I feel like there's going to be a lot of bleeping in this season."
Roach said he is not afraid to tell it like it is!
"I would be doing these designers a disservice to lie or to sugarcoat or to walk on eggshells when the world's not," he explained.
Siriano, too, does not mince his words when it comes to advising and mentoring the contestants.
"Christian Siriano is an incredible example of somebody that lived it, knows it, and was able to successfully make it. He is a brilliant designer. He's brilliant at marketing. He is brilliant at really understanding where there is a need and in the industry and reacting very quickly," said Garcia.
The first two episodes of "Project Runway" season 21 premieres tonight at 9pm EST/ 8pm CST on Freeform and will be available on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ shortly after.
The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Freeform, Hulu and this ABC station.
