'Tempest' teaser drops for Hulu's Korean spy series starring Gianna Jun and John Cho
International intrigue heats up in Hulu's upcoming Korean original series "Tempest," streaming Sept. 10.
Hulu has unveiled the first teaser for "Tempest," a gripping new Korean original series that blends espionage, political drama and nonstop action. The series premieres September 10 with the first three episodes on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally.
Starring Gianna Jun, Gang Dongwon and John Cho, the series follows former diplomat Seo Munju as she investigates an assassination attempt on a presidential candidate accused of being a North Korean spy. Her search for the truth uncovers a web of state secrets and international deception, putting her in the crosshairs of dangerous enemies.
Directed by Kim Heewon ("Queen of Tears," "Vincenzo") and co-directed by martial arts expert Heo Myeonghaeng, "Tempest" combines intense action with political intrigue.
