Important: You can only find transactions after you add a card to Google Wallet. For a full history of your debit and credit cards transactions, check your bank statements.
You can find a list of past transactions and activity for debit or credit cards you added to Google Wallet.
Activity details for contactless payments
Find activity
American Express only (US): For a full history of transactions and details, check your bank statements or go to the American Express app.
To find activity for a card:
- Open the Google Wallet app

- To find the card that you want to get activity for, you may need to swipe left.
- Tap your card.
- At the bottom, tap Details
Activity.
- At the top, you can find your most recent action or transaction. To find all available activity, scroll up.
Tip: If you remove a card, you lose activity history.
Transaction details
When you make a tap to pay transaction with Google Wallet, you get a purchase notification that you have a new transaction. To get the transaction details, tap the notification.
To find past transaction details:
- Tap the card or pass you want to get transactions for.
- At the top right, tap Activity

- To get transaction details, find the transaction and tap it.
To turn the purchase notifications on or off:
- Open the Google Wallet app
.
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Account

Enable location permission to get detailed receipts
Important: To find the location of your tap to pay transactions, enable location permission on the Google Wallet app.
- On your device, open the Settings app.

Tap Apps.

Select Google Wallet.

If you can't find it, tap See all apps.

Tap Permissions.

For “Location,” select Allow only while using the app.

When you enable this setting, you can find the location data for new transactions.

You can check your transactions on the Google Wallet website.
