Pittsboro death investigation linked to case in Kentucky, Chatham County Sheriff's Office says

PITTSBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Chatham County Sheriff's Office is conducting a death investigation in Pittsboro that may have implications across state lines.

Deputies responded Thursday morning to a home in the 400 block of Forest Creek Drive.

Investigators said there is no ongoing threat to the public.

The Sheriff's Office said it was coordinating with police in Florence, Kentucky, as part of the investigation.

No other details were immediately released.
