What Is Look Inside the Book?

Look Inside the Book lets you search through and view pages from books on Amazon.

Look Inside the Book allows you to preview a limited number of pages of books. This means you can sample books before you purchase. Samples for print books allow you to search for words in the book to confirm that the book is just what they're looking for

Our agreements with publishers and copyright holders currently limit how much of the book is available for preview. Pages, or parts of pages, will be omitted due to copyright restrictions.

The images are optimized for display on a computer monitor; printed pages usually have a much higher resolution and better quality.

If samples of the requested format of the book are not available, we will try and show the samples from related editions. We will indicate if the sample comes from the paperback, hardcover, or Kindle edition of the book.

Some features and pages are only available if you're logged into your Amazon account and have made a prior purchase. If you choose not to log in, or haven't made a purchase, we provide only a limited set of preview pages for the book.
