2-vehicle crash into Upper East Side scaffolding injures 8 people in Manhattan

UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) -- A car and SUV crashed on the Upper East Side on Thursday morning, sending the car barreling into some scaffolding.

Eight people were hurt in the crash. All of the injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

Citizen App video showed the aftermath of the crash that happened just before 6 a.m. Thursday on Madison Avenue between 84th and 85th streets.

There is no word on the cause of the crash. So far, no charges have been filed.
