THE BRONX (WABC) -- Three people were injured when gunfire erupted in the Bronx early Sunday.
Police responded to the scene on Crotona Parkway near East Tremont just before 1 a.m. for reports of an assault in progress.
Officers found a 22-year-old woman shot in the left arm and a 32-year-old woman shot in the back.
First responders transported the victims to Saint Barnabas Hospital. The women are in stable condition.
Officials say a third victim, a 37-year-old man, walked into the hospital himself after suffering a gunshot wound to his left arm. He is in stable condition.
There have been no arrests as authorities try to determine a motive for the shooting.
