Man injured after being pushed onto subway tracks in Midtown
It happened Saturday just before 8 p.m. on the platform for the southbound 1 train at 50th Street.

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) -- A man was injured after he was pushed onto the subway tracks in Midtown Manhattan Saturday evening.

The incident happened Saturday just before 8 p.m. on the platform for the southbound No. 1 train at the 50th Street station.

The 44-year-old suffered minor injuries from the fall, but was able to hoist himself back onto the platform.

The man who pushed him got away.

There is no word on what led up to the incident.
