HOBOKEN, New Jersey (WABC) -- PATH service has resumed following repairs to a malfunctioning switch that became disabled.
According to transit officials, a PATH train was approaching the Hoboken Station around 11 a.m. on Saturday when it went over the malfunctioning switch and became disabled.
Officials say no one was injured as a result of the incident.
Service was suspended at Hoboken in both directions for hours while repairs were made.
Service resumed at Hoboken overnight, but delays were reported early Sunday.
