19-year-old man stabbed to death in Jackson Heights, Queens; police searching for suspect
JACKSON HEIGHTS, Queens (WABC) -- Police are investigating after a man was stabbed to death in Queens on Thursday.
It happened just after 6 p.m. outside of 35-21 93rd St. in Jackson Heights.
Officers arrived at the scene to discover a 19-year-old man with stab wounds to the abdomen.
The victim, identified as Brooklyn resident Jason Fernandez, was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police are searching for a motive and the killer.
There are no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
