MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS (WABC) -- Black Health Matters, a leading non-profit health advocacy group, hosted its annual health summit and expo on Tuesday in Morningside Heights.
The summit was held at the Riverside Church and focused on health and wellness.
The gathering is in partnership with the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce.
Several hundred attendees were on hand for the free one-day event, which featured health screenings, expert panelists, and prizes.
Eyewitness News' Sandra Bookman served as one of the co-hosts for the summit.
Organizers say the goal is to offer resources and information to an audience that might otherwise not have access to so many medical professionals.
