Towering mural reflects Earth and Big Dreams

HOUSTON, Texas -- On what used to be a dull wall on the side of a Midtown parking garage, there is now a seven-story mural titled "Stellar Illumination." The artwork features an astronaut gazing at Earth from space.

The artist behind the work is Robin Munro, also known as Dread. "It's a celebration of exploration," Munro said.

The mural is located near the intersection of Milam and West Gray streets in Midtown Houston.

It's the latest artwork from the mural series, Big Walls Big Dreams, led by UP Art Studio.
