Follow the steps below to add or update your prescription drug insurance.

To update insurance online:

1. Sign in to your Walmart Pharmacy account in the app or visit Walmart.com/Pharmacy.
2. Scroll to My Account.
3. Select Manage my insurance.
4. Select Add prescription insurance.
5. Walmart will look up your insurance details automatically.
   • You can add details manually if needed.
6. Select the insurance you’d like to add.
7. Select Add and continue.

You may also update your insurance during any online refill or transfer request. Just select Add or Change insurance before submitting and follow the steps.

To update insurance by phone:

1. Call your local Walmart Pharmacy store.
2. Provide your updated insurance information over the phone.
3. Confirm that we’ve saved the new information before placing your Rx order.

To update insurance in person:

1. Visit your local Walmart Pharmacy store.
2. Provide the pharmacy staff with your updated insurance information.
